This week we have enjoyed talking about princess' favorite subject, flowers! Here is a picture of the flower we made yesterday. We talked about the parts of the flower as we assembled it. My princess got a real kick out of using cornmeal for pollen, she thought this was very strange!

Great start to your blog! I look forward to reading more of your science adventures. I have a phd in Anthropology...so I am okay on the history end...and my husband has the degree in chemical engineering...so we need to keep up with the science end.
We made flowers just like that last semester using God's Design for Life: World of Plants! The kids loved it and the flowers stayed on the shelf for several months. :)
I'm looking forward to your blog postings too! Science has been on my mind...
